ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Plain City, Ohio, Dec. 15, 2009 -- Company President Gregg Simpson
announced today that Plain City, Ohio based Ohio Laser LLC
has received ISO 9001:2008 certification, a quality
management system maintained by the International
Organization for Standardization.
ISO 9001
certification requires manufacturers to keep detailed
records, manage defined procedures covering key processes in
the business, quality-check production output for defects
with appropriate corrective action when necessary, regularly
review individual processes and the quality system for
effectiveness, and promote continual improvement.
Simpson said “the entire team at Ohio Laser has worked hard
since the beginning of 2008 to achieve this very important
quality standard. I want to thank them for their hard word
and dedication to implement this program. Our customers can
now be more confident than ever in our dedication to quality
control and exacting industrial tolerances.”
Ohio
Laser, now in its 12th year of operation with 19 employees,
is a high technology industrial laser cutting and metal
fabrication shop serving Fortune 1000 corporations as well
as other small businesses.
