Company President Gregg Simpson announced today Ohio Laser LLC has received ISO 9001:2008 certification, effective January 5, 2010.
ISO 9001 certification requires manufacturers to keep detailed records, manage defined procedures covering key processes in the business, quality-check production output for defects
with appropriate corrective action when necessary, regularly review individual processes and the quality system for effectiveness, and promote continual improvement.
Simpson said

Recently, we added a powerful Trumpf TruLaser 5040 flat laser cutting machine to our family of four 21st Century laser cutting systems. |

The new Trumpf laser cutting machine features awesome laser cutting capabilities that include:
- Materials - Carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and alloys
- Max Speed - Axially Parallel (7874 in/min) Simultaneous (11811 in/min)
- Plate Thickness - 1" Carbon, 1" Stainless Steel and .60" Aluminum
- Sheet Size - 80" x 160", 3968 lbs
- Cutting Power - 6000 watts

We also possess a Trumpf Tubematic laser tube and pipe cutting system that can precision cut holes, slots and complex contours in tubes without hard tooling. Laser tube cutting is complex,
but it can offers cost significant costs savings in production.

Our CAD-driven systems can accommodate oval, rectangular, round, and square tubes with outside dimensions between .75” through 4 inch square and 6 inch round. We also offer laser pipe cutting services. The benefits of laser tube cutting include almost unlimited
cutting configurations, elimination of stack-up tolerances inherent in multiple operations, no tooling charges, reduced lot sizes and a wide variety of metal alloys.
The automated feeding handler can accommodate 21 foot long
tubes of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum with wall thickness capacity to .25”. Manual loading can handle tubes to 24 feet in length.
Moreover, we offer a one-stop solution for complete
fabricating services including:
- PPAP Level I to Level IV capabilities

- Welding - GMAW, FCAW, GTAW
