Ohio Laser recently added a Trumpf TruLaser 5040 system, its fourth laser plate cutting system.

The benefits of plate cutting with advanced laser technology include almost unlimited cutting configurations, elimination of stack up tolerances inherent in multiple operations, no tooling charges, reduced lot sizes and a wide variety of metal alloys.
Our laser cutting of plate capabilities with the Trumpf TruLaser 5040 include:

- Plate Thickness - 1" Carbon, 1" Stainless
Steel and 5/8" Aluminum
- Max Speed - Axially Parallel (7874 in/min) Simultaneous (11811 in/min)
- Sheet Size - 80" x 160", 3968 lbs
- Focuses laser cutting power faster and more accurately than any of our other lasers
- Allows for laser cutting production of longer and wider parts
- Self-loading and unloading technology
